Danny O'Flaherty is a singer, songwriter and storyteller who has enchanted and educated audiences around the country for over thirty years.  With his original music and amazing spirit, Danny captivates his young audiences as he inspires them to think, learn and appreciate the world around them. 

Danny is a regular performer for the Council for Exceptional Children which adopted his co-written song, "Every Child's a Star", as their theme song.  The message of the song which includes pride in individual accomplishment and an appreciation for diversity makes the song a perfect anthem for the Council.  In addition, the Council's Yes, I Can program served as the inspiration for Danny's song, "Yes, You Can" which emphasizes the importance of believing in oneself and fostering the determination to attain ones highest potential.

Danny gears his programs for students in kindergarten through the fourth grade.  Well-planned and age appropriate both in subject and presentation, the programs consist of several different segments each with its own positive theme and accompanying songs.  Danny takes great care to tailor his performances to the audience and is prepared to make alterations as he gauges how the children are or are not responding.
