Celtic Christmas (2004-2006)
A year after the legendary O’Flaherty’s Irish Channel Pub opened in the hart of the
French Quarter, the 1990 Christmas season rolled around. To commemorate the event, Danny O’Flaherty enlisted Robin James-Jones of Wales to help put together A Celtic Christmas to celebrate the true Christmas customs of their Celtic Nations—Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia, and the Isle of Man. This program became a beloved annual event. This version played the Galveston Grand Opera House, across Louisiana and Texas, and produced a second public television special.

Danny O'Flaherty - Heroes (2002)
There is an innate sadness in the knowledge that freedom comes at cost. No more is the fact evident than in the histories of Ireland and the United States. Most certainly it can come through in music. This recording is enjoyable - as all Danny's recordings are. However, it is calculated to make the listener stop and think and maybe even give thanks. Wrapped in the varied tunes are tons of feelings - all of which to heroes, and freedom and justice.

Danny O'Flaherty - An Irish Christmas Carol (1995)
Twelve songs, simply, but effectively, arranged. True, the temptation to use ringing bells on a couple of the songs proved irresistible, but it is the only slight use of schmaltz on a refreshingly schmaltz-free collection of arrangements. And the songs themselves are sung tunefully and well with a totally unself-conscious passion and honesty that truly reflects Danny O'Flaherty's approach to music. I should have expected no less. There's no Santa Clauses in this collection, no reindeer, no elves, no Tiny Tims, just the meaning of Christmas pared down to it original essentials. That, for millions of Christians, the birth of Jesus Christ meant also the birth of belief, hope, and meaning. Love of God and joy in the promise that Christmas meant to humanity.

Danny O'Flaherty - From the Heart (1994)
All my life, I have wanted to record a group pf songs that were meaningful ... about things that I believe in. With "From the Heart", I have finally been able to achieve this. Some of the songs I have written, others were written by friends, and still others were written by people who share my deep feelings and personal concerns. Some of the songs are about love - love of another person, love of country; some are about respect, respect for the environment, respect for all people. We must learn to love and respect. This recording is a testimonial to what I believe and because of these beliefs, all that I am today. I hope you will enjoy listening as much as I have enjoyed singing them for you.

The Celtic Folk - Ride the Waves (1994)
The Celtic Folk first appeared on the western shore of the Atlantic a decade ago. Since then, of course, Ireland's premier balladeers have become a fixture on the American Circuit. Small wonder. These remarkable musicians, reared in a Gaelic-speaking area along side Galway Bay. This album is a collection of The Celtic Folk's ballads and airs. Some are from the folk memory of Celtic Long Ago (Grace O'Malley, Fionn Mac Cumball). They have a way of bringing life to Old Story and Ancient Legend. Listen to the lyrics. The distinctly Gaelic turn of phrase will help you understand why, the world over, The Celtic Folk are perhaps the most warmly welcomed of any of Eire's ambassadors.

The Celtic Folk - Live on Bourbon Street (1987)
Indeed, a collection of pub songs is long overdue by a major Irish folk band. From some reason, the top Irish groups have for too long ceased mining in the mother lode of Irish pub balladry. And, as The Celtic Folk/Live on Bourbon Street demonstrates, a rich vein it is.
